Clicking on sidebar 'category' should open up the first page within that category

  • as per title says. This would minimise an extra click as currently when you click on the category it doest open up the first page within that category but instead forces you to select a page within that category.
  • Note: Airtable has this functionality.

Thanks for sharing this, we appreciate the suggestion.

And you’re right, opening the first page in a category could save a click and feel faster in some cases. The main reason we don’t do this by default is that a lot of users prefer to choose exactly where they go, instead of being taken somewhere automatically when they click a category. The current setup keeps things more clear, especially when there are multiple pages inside a category.

That said, your idea makes sense, especially for simpler setups, and it’s something we can look into in a more flexible way.
