Change Log via Airtable

Hello!

We’re building an app with Airtable+Softr that allows external users to edit specific records in Airtable tables, however, we’re struggling to find a way to build in a change log of edits made by external users. We’ve explored all manner of automations in Airtable, but the “Last Modified By” field in Airtable appears connected to only the Airtable user account, not a user record in a Users table, and we can’t find a clean way of seeing what logged-in Softr users are making what changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe I am missing something but you can easily log to AT how made the edit.

Simply add to your edit records form, a field type ‘hidden’ and map the logged in user record id.

That should be all.
