Change link at install mobile app (PWA)

Hey all :wave:

When you have the mobile app (PWA) feature enabled and you want to install this on your device, is there a way to change the URL that is opened when you open the mobile app?

Some users might want to start at the home page, whereas other might prefer that the app always opens at another page (different part) of your application.

In the meantime, here’s an alternative way to think about it. I could imagine building a separate feature, which we could call “my start page”. That could be a choice from a dropdown of pages in the app, and it could be part of a user’s profile. Then, whenever the user loaded the app (or maybe just when they initially load the home page of the app), they would automatically be taken to that page.

It could potentially even be two choices, one choice of the start page for PWA and the other for everywhere else.

Would that meet your needs?

Yeah, that could work.

Alternatively, for now, we can also just create separate applications in Softr, and link them to each other. In that case they could also be saved separately as a mobile app.
