Can I automatically create a form from Airtable fields?

HI All.
Am I doing this wrong?

In creation of an app/site, Softr has quickly created the relevant pages for me, however when it comes to nesting linked tables within a table, it appears Softr doesnt support this out of the box. Linked tables are kinda the most important thing in Airtable for me.

I spoke with support and I needed to create a form and a URL. The forms however are not autocreated or populated by the Airtable they associate with, they come with templated made for sales leads and you appear to need to manually change everyhing in them, then manually . . add. . . very . . single . . . field. You also cant make fields read only etc etc, even then I couldnt work out what they mean by “adding this form as a URL”.

For a platform written for Airtable, it seems to not act like Airtable. Very manual to have to undo sales template forms and recreate each line item in the clunky interface. Im coming from Mini Extensions where the fields are just there and work.

Also, why does everything in Softr have such tiny tiny and hard to change fonts? Every element appears to need individual reformatting?

MiniExtensions’ core operation is automating form data collection, as well as reading and writing data to Airtable.

Softr does not serve the same purpose; it is not meant to replace your favorite form processor, although it could in some specific cases.

Softr can automate many other tasks, such as creating visual pages for every item in your Airtable portfolio tab, profile pages for every customer in your database, and several other functionalities.

In my opinion, better Softr forms have been highly demanded almost since I discovered Softr a couple of years ago. Improvements have been made, but there are still more areas to address.
