Basic Customer Portal

Hi everyone,

I’m Kev - new to Softr and to the community. I’ve been trying to build a very basic customer portal, using ChatGPT for guidance, but I’m hitting a wall and could use some help.

Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:

  • A main customer dashboard displaying basic customer info (from Airtable).
  • Next to each customer, there’s an “Open” button.
  • When clicked, a pop-up or new page appears asking: “Are you sure you want to proceed?”
    • Clicking “No” → returns the user to the main dashboard.
    • Clicking “Yes” → takes the user to a Customer Details page with all information shown.

My questions are:

  1. Is this type of structure possible in Softr?
  2. If yes, could anyone share guidance, best practices, or examples on how to set it up?
