Currently, the Assets Library is only accessible by clicking on a block that might contain an asset. This creates an awkward workflow when working with Vibe Code block and you want to add some images or icons to what you’re creating.
The problem:
When I’m in a Vibe Code block and want to reference an asset (e.g., paste an image URL into my prompt), I have to:
-
Temporarily add a random section to my page
-
Click into that section to access the Assets Library
-
Find and copy the asset URL
-
Go back to my Vibe Code block and paste it
-
Delete the temporary section
Proposed solutions:
-
Add Assets Library to the left sidebar: Though I realize this might not make as much sense for softr, which isn’t a typical drag-and-drop builder like Webflow or Framer.
-
(Recommended) Add an “Assets Library" option directly in the Vibe Code block sidebar: This would be more contextual and wouldn’t clutter the main interface for users who don’t need it.
