Is Softr down again? Neither studio.softr.io nor my site are accessible, getting ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT for both URLs.
Mine is working.
Just went back online.
A lot of our actions are broken today, users are reporting errors and I can reproduce on demand as of 2 minutes ago.
Action buttons that call a URL as a destination are not working.
We did not observe any issues today… @nocodeking the one you mentioned pls share via chat that could not have any relation to network error reported earlier
In progress.
Mine is down for the second night in a row.
I have been having issues since last week, and yet again today.
Any of my Softr pages connected to Smartsuite, and pulling data from any Smartsuite field that is a LOOKUP field (like images for example), are not working.
Added to that, my search bars are not working correctly.
Support cannot state there is an issue, when there clearly is.
Honestly, love Softr, but these glitches, and down times, have to be figured out. It is getting out of hand at this point.
How can no issues have been observed, when tech support confirmed to me issues were observed:
@Lockdown155 we might issues with certain SmartSuite fields as we consistently improve underlying structure… but this doesn’t mean all apps are down… we don’t have major issue going but there are close to million apps running and all connect to different systems so there are always ongoing things (think of a traffic in a city there will always be smaller incidents but nothing global that we know) now back to SmartSuite they had rate limits we improved few things could you pls share your case with support channel and our team will find the reasons and provide a fix
@epierce can you pls share specifics what exactly is down ? Did you talk to our team ?
Again, please improve QA so builders are not performing Softr’s QC. Softr is simply attempting to do too much at the same time. We need improvement of existing features, rather than new datasources, blocks,…
@Ben we are doing our best, nothing can guarantee 100% all the time all the apps will not have any issues even if we would have 1000s QA… If you really expect a platform like this not have a issues at all you will get disappointed… Point me to a single company in the world that has system like ours or relatively close and comes with 0 issues… Yes we do consistently improve the system and it will have issues from time to time which we are doing our best to address as fast as we can…
Artur. I have been using Softr for over 4 years and paying $1000’s/yr for the last 2, so I’m well aware that Softr is not perfect. If you can put yourself in my shoes, you can imagine how many bugs I have reported.
The problem is that it does not seem to be improving, but is getting worse. When you argue in absolutes like this, it ignores the actual problems builders are having with your product. When I keep hearing that my expectations are unreasonable, it makes me curious about Softr’s actual bug rate.
These bugs are just the latest. I assume a lot more are retrieved directly from chat help. The point is, when too many things are attempted, none of them are done well. More often than not, very poorly.
@Ben not everything is bug and not every bug will be fixed… the OS you are using today probably has 100s of unresolved bugs too but that doesn’t make it unusable… I hope you are seeing that we keep improving and adding a lot functionalities… we can’t stop everything or work towards 100% bug free… the space we are dealing is pretty huge just think about it so many databases so many different type of content in different formats etc…
This being said we have been always open to hear feedback and improve and thats what we are doing 24/7…
I don’t have to stop working to report problems to my OS Artur. Your comparisons and analogies disregard the fact that I have been using your product for years, so I can tell when the “bug” is caused by something on your end. I’m not asking for perfection, I need a reduction in the amount of bugs.
You can’t “Build custom apps for your business, fast”, let alone at all, when constantly running into bugs that have to be reported.
Understood, Ben. Thanks for your feedback and ongoing care for Softr. I’ll send you a DM so we can see the bugs you’re dealing with and get them fixed.
