API calls from Softr should support raw Json

I think I’ve just stumbled on this problem. I’ve been trying to integrate MapBox with Softr Workflows. When a record is updated I want to get the latitude and longitude of an address in a Softr DB Table. Everything works with the exception that the JSON response isn’t parsed. I’ve tried various methods to get the data I need from the returned API call data, but it’s not working.

After using Perplexity’s AI Comet browser to scan the app for a solution, it’s recommending using Zapier or Make, which defeats the entire purpose of Softr Workflows. I hope there is a native solution that is easy, soon.

As someone who is not an API expert, it sounds like JSON Parsing on Softr’s side, would be a great solution.
