I know there is weglot, but is there any another free or opensource option for multi-lingual options for my website? And does airtable also support data translation as well?
Hey @randow,
Here is a workaround if you do not want to use Weglot.
-
Ensure you have the translations organized in your Airtable database for each language version.
-
Consider creating dedicated apps for each language you want to translate to. This will help streamline the workflow.
-
Connect each app to the corresponding language fields in your Airtable. This integration will ensure that your translation data is up-to-date and synchronized across platforms.
-
To make navigation easier for users, set up a header block with labeled buttons for different language options on your main app. Link each button to its corresponding app.
Hope this will help
@Suzie I’ll be trying this out, but is there a way to link list detail pages in one app to the same page in a different language? Or would it just have to be a link to the other app’s home page and the user navigates from there?
