Ability for customers to create pages and share with users/emails

Hello all. I am exploring an idea that allows users (customers) of my app to create pages and share access to those pages with other people. Think something along the lines of proposal app.

Customers of my app populate some data on a page, then share a link to that page with a specific person/email so that person can review it and accept the proposal.

Anyone know of Soft projects that have done this or something close to it? Is this possible?

Sure - you can create a proposal page, which utilizes our detail blocks among others. From there, a customer can create a new object (proposal) which can be seen on the proposal page.

Then you can share that URL with prospective customers to view the proposal for that specific customer.

And you can use that one page to create proposals for many people (while sharing that data in a safe way).

Thanks. Maybe this diagram better explains it. I am essentially selling access to data that my customers then use to share out to their customers/clients. I don’t have any direct contact with the customer’s clients. My customers would somehow need to permissions/ability to grant access to specific pages and invite outsiders(?) to view those pages.

Is there any documentation around this kind of setup and access?

Thanks again,
Darrell

Perhaps to achieve this I would create a published app for each of my customers?
From within that app the customer can login, then create and share public pages using the templates I set up in their system?

What I ultimately need is the ability to set my customers up with a hub/portal filled with information I provide. My customers then use that data (via shared pages in the hub/portal) to attract clients and confirm contracts/deals (again via the hub/portal).

  • I populate data in each customers’s portal
  • They review it, create shareable portal pages they can use to attract clients
  • My customer and their clients confirm agreements and contracts within the portal

Any guidance of whether that setup fits within the functionality and pricing plans would be much appreciated. Thanks, Darrell
