10 Days of Softr: Day 2

Day 2 of 10: :fire: A fresh batch of quality-of-life updates just dropped in Softr Databases

:white_check_mark: Format formula results as dates, currency, percentages, checkboxes & more

:white_check_mark: Sort select fields your way—with new sorting and display options (including custom sort in cell)

:white_check_mark: Show date fields in the user’s time zone or set a custom format

:white_check_mark: Add helpful context with field descriptions

:white_check_mark: Use unique field IDs for more reliable automations

:white_check_mark: Display files as thumbnails or badges

:white_check_mark: Auto-refresh file URLs to improve security

These updates make your database more flexible, powerful—and just nicer to use :sparkles:

Any guesses what’s coming on Day 3? :eyes:

Not sure what is coming on day 3, but sure hope one of the days brings the ability to import data into an existing Softr Database table.

Hi @Jjenglert I’m just trying the formatting options for formula fields but it’s greyed out with this message ‘Formatting is only available if the output is a Date or Number field type’

This is my formula which should produce either no value or a number so unsure why I can’t format? (will be great if I can)

I also no longer see the AI option to help with formula which was really useful
