I have a user whose tables will not connect properly in their account (on my Softr app) to the connected Airtable source. At first, I thought it was an error with their original Airtable record, so I deleted it and made another one. When that didn’t work, I thought it was because their name was similar to another user’s, but after testing that theory I found it wasn’t the issue either. However, if I use a different email address for their username, everything works fine. Has anyone else run into this issue? I can usually find a solution but I don’t see any other bug reports quite like this.
Are you using two-way sync?
Have you tried adding the user directly to Softr - to see if the problem is with Softr rejecting this specific email address?
Have you checked that there are no spaces before or after the email address in your Airtable email field?
I don’t see any spaces in the email address. I deleted the user on Softr and then added the email directly to the Softr users (instead of using airtable) and it still will not connect to Airtable. I’ve only had this issue with one user so far. I do have a new error though - “something went wrong, please refresh the page and try again.”
That’s a real mystery, if it is only one email address that gives a problem when all others work fine between Airtable and Softr for you … I don’t know what more to suggest, other than going direct to Softr’s Live Chat for assistance.
Thanks! I’m talking to them now.
