Yes @artur. I noticed problems this weekend connecting to studio and blocks’ user sync error message. However, a day after reporting this, your guys told us to update to PATs as a solution, when I already was. Should we expect more of this?
I don’t expect more of it unless there is an incident in Airtable side… if this happens again pls tag me
@artur The core web vitals are poor for all our pages (www.elbiil.dk). Even the ones where we have no dynamic blocks. Also it seems like something happend around 10-11 July as you can see from the image.
It seems like softr is the wrong choice if you want to rank on Google - at least you have an uphill battle due to the low page speed/core web vitals score.
@Daniel_elbiil_dk It’s because we started to render more blocks on the client side vs. the server side… unfortunately, most checking tools expect everything to be rendered on the server side, but we are not planning to move to server-side rendering.
Thanks for your quick reply!
The thing is that this is Google’s checking tool and hence, it negatively affect the search rankings.
Is it correctly understood that if the goal of the website is to attract organic traffic via search then Softr is not the right platform to use?
@Daniel_elbiil_dk while our own website is on Softr and has the same issues and ranks well and gets ton of traffic I want to highlight that yes our platform is more focused on internal tools, portals and business apps rather than websites hence we are not too much focusing on improving those…
That is also perfectly understandable. With +100 pages of content on our web site built on Softr I am not really keen on the idea to move but may have to due the importance of organic traffic…
Where are you looking instead? I love Softr but the pivot to internal tools certainly has captured my attention.
I haven’t found anything yet. Also, it seems like it will be a huge manual tasks to get our content moved onto another platform - can anything be done programmatically?
They’ve been pivoting for a long time. Years. With their latest pricing scheme its crystal clear what their intentions are now. Same as the rest.
