We’re following this thread. The new data caching method that we’re moving to will make functionality like this possible, as it was too hard to do before via the API.
Also, I believe it’s already started, but you can group in a view via your data source, and then show that view in Softr. I know it’s not what you’re looking for, but a short term work around until we can offer this natively.
@Jjenglert any news on an update for settinf a ‘Group By’ option?
We’re planning on this coming sometime in Q4 this year at the moment.
+1, [group by] would change a manual-work-every-time Airtable view for a client page to be a one-and-done Softr setup.

Hey @Jjenglert Can you please let us know worst date scenario this will be released so we can plan accordingly? We have so many product variants, with many suppliers all with different price breaks per minimum order quantity so we really need a group by functionality like Airtable.

I don’t have one for you yet, my friend. What I will say is that our updated data modeling system makes operations like these much easier for us to achieve from a technical perspective, and was previously limiting us before.
