I am looking to create a dashboard app that would pull data from the users google analytics. Is this possible with Softr? I am a true no-coder so I am out of my depth here.
Hey @Jennifergrayeb, you can build your app and connect a Google Analytics tool to it as it is shown here.
Then, when it shows the results, you will need to pass them to the data source you use with your Softr app (one example of how to do it is shown here). As soon as you pass the data to it, you can easily show them in Softr too.
Thanks! With Make will the app user be able to easily connect their data to populate? Or will make just pull from whatever account I initially set it up with?
It will pull data from whatever account you initially set it up with (like "add data to X data source when new data is added).
So there is no way for the user to connect their own Google data, only whatever data source I set from the start?
Yes, you are correct, your app users will not be able to connect their own data sources to your app. Instead, they can use our “Add” action button to add data to your app → your data source.
