Hi JJ, et al,
Just saw the video you posted on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBjzjGb9sCs that demonstrates n8n / Softr integration. Great stuff, but…
It reminded me of the longstanding problem with Softr’s API calls - they don’t catch nor bind API call responses to blocks’ fields. The block’s response doesn’t wait for the API call’s response either.
This requires a manual refresh of a page in order to show the changes to the data made by the API. No serious web app requires a manual refresh of a page to see the data change after an action is taken on a page that’s calling the API - I hope we can all agree on that.
This has been a long-standing issue. Your last post here was on May 6 and you mentioned the data synchronizer was coming “soon”. Any update on this?
Also, I just saw Artur’s response to this thread: App with Airtabel Data unusable despite correct setup – little to no support from Softr - #5 by Matthias
It also mentions some kind of a sync feature, presumably coming for Airtable within weeks.
Could Softr give the community a definitive update on when we can reliably see an API’s response be caught by the page’s response to an action calling the API?
Thank you
