Best block for displaying rich text data from a content table

Hi Everyone,

I currently use Softr’s static blocks (as shown below) to display content throughout my site. I’d like to switch to a content-table-driven system so admins can update the text via a form. I have created the tables to support this, but I’m having trouble finding the right blocks to display the header and paragraph data on a page, similar to the picture below. Any ideas or working solutions?

Hey @PYCAdmin !

Thanks a lot for reaching out, you can use any dynamic block you like its layout the most, such as Table, List, Item Details, then enable editing so your users can edit and make sure your field is of a Rich Text type.

Thanks for helping with this. I’m surprised my question didn’t get more hits/comments.

For in-line editing, I’ve tried using a table block and a list block, but I do not see the “enable editing” option on the field.

I also tried adding an edit button at the record level, but the rich text field in the Edit dialog does not have a “rich text tool bar” for styling the content.

The problem was that the Softer database does not have the rich text option.

I moved the table to Airtable, and now it works as expected. The rich text tools are limited. Adding a “Remove formatting” option would be a good update.
