Modal Back and Close Buttons Not Visible

This is more of a usability issue than a bug. Problem: As per the screenshot below, you can’t see the back and close modal buttons when they are on top of a custom block that has a dark background. In the upper left corner is a back link, in the upper right corner is a close link. Neither is visible due to the background image.
