Re: 18 & 19 and staying on the topic of forms, I would love the following functionality as well:
A) Currently the form answers only gets captured at from completion. This means we loose valuable insights with form submission drop-offs. Having an option to have form data written to the database after each form step, and the database record of that form submission gets updated for subsequent completed form steps. This would result in a bit of delay between form steps, but since it’s optional we can decide for ourselves is this is a problem.
B) The ability to surface database record values as read-only in the form.
Both are valuable in itself, but in conjunction this would open up super valuable use-cases.
For Example:
- User selects option “Service X” in step 1 for the field {service},
- User clicks through to form step 2.
- Step 1 answer(s) is committed to the back-end.
- Back-end generates value for field {feedback guidelines} based on the value of field {service}. Eg. through a formula or other automation.
- User is send to form step 2 where it’s shown {feedback guidelines} as a read-only description.
